Specialist Joe is the satirical alias of a former paratrooper, and special operations soldier. He was divorced twice before his twenty-fifth birthday, has several illegitimate children, attends mandatory AA meetings, and has a 17% interest rate on his Dodge Challenger.

Joe considers himself to be a professional shammer, has failed the promotion board twice, has been demoted once, and is the recipient of several Article 15s. Joe enjoys dipping, smoking, hitting on strippers, and throwing back Busch Lites with the boys. 

Speciliast Joe writes satirical military stories based on real life experiences. His goal is to both entertain and bring to light the more amusing and ridiculous aspects of military service. Outside of writing Joe is "attempting to get my shit together".
